Nights Away Notification

Please go to the Scout HQ Website to find the Nights Away Notification Form and email to at least 14 days before your event.

The event Permit holder is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate Commissioner is informed about each section attending a nights away event (even a District or County event).

For all Nights Away events the information below should be submitted 14 days before the event (in normal circumstances).

Please ensure that your GSL is already aware of the event.

All Adults participating in the Nights Away must be listed on the NAN Form so that the necessary checks can be completed.

Once approved the Event Leader will receive an email with the approved NAN Form and this will be copied to the relevant GSL or, in the case of Explorers, to our DESC, Andy Cross.

Please ensure the Event Leader has a valid Nights Away Permit in place as soon as possible to ensure that, if required, permits can be renewed/issued.
